# Ask Mucka what your engineer wrote on a job

Ask Mucka what one of your engineers wrote on a job and it reads the actual paperwork — the callslip write-up, the fault they found, the appliance, the parts, the readings — and answers from what is on it.

## Asking

Just ask in your own words, on any surface:

- "What did Tim write on the Kingston Lane job?"
- "Read me the callslip from the 15th of June."
- "What was the fault at BS40 8DA?"
- "What boiler was it on that Moor Croft job?"

Mucka finds the job, finds the paperwork filed against it, and answers the question you actually asked. Ask it to read the whole thing out and it will; ask one question and you get one answer rather than the full form read aloud.

## What it is reading

The engineer's own filed form — a callslip, a gas safety record — not the job notes.

That difference matters. The **job notes** are the brief the office raised the job with: the case reference, what the customer reported. The **callslip** is what the engineer wrote up afterwards, at the property. If you ask what someone wrote in their report, Mucka reads the report.

## When Mucka cannot answer

It will say so plainly rather than filling the gap:

- **The form does not say.** If a section was left blank, Mucka tells you it is blank. It never invents a part number or a reading.
- **Handwriting it cannot make out.** Marked as illegible, rather than guessed at — a wrong serial number is worse than a gap.
- **Private forms.** Anything marked private in JobLogic is never read out.
- **The document will not fetch.** Occasionally JobLogic is slow or the document will not come down. Mucka says so and gives you the button to open it yourself.

## Asking more than one thing

The first question about a document takes a few seconds while Mucka reads it. Everything after that is instant, because Mucka remembers what the document said. So it is worth asking follow-ups — "what parts did he use?", "did he say it needed a return visit?" — rather than opening the PDF.

## Who can use it

Anyone who can see the job. Owners and managers can ask about any job; an engineer can ask about jobs they are on, whether they are leading them or second man.
