> Ask Mucka how one of your team is doing today and get their finished jobs, what they're on now, what's left and their number.

You don't have to open the Schedule and work it out. Just ask.

If you'd rather look than ask, the Engineers page on your phone now groups everyone by what
they're doing, with whoever's free at the top:
[See who's free right now](/help/engineers/see-who-is-free-right-now).

## Ask Mucka

Say or type any of these:

- "How's Dave getting on today?"
- "What's Euan been up to?"
- "Has Priya finished at the Hollis job?"
- "Are they running late?"

Mucka comes back with what they've finished today, what they're on right now, what's still to do, and their email and mobile if you need to get hold of them.

It works on the phone too, so you can ask on the way to a job without touching anything.

## What Mucka counts as finished

A job counts as done when its status is anything in the Post-Job group, so "To Invoice" and "Invoice Sent" both count, not just "Completed". If you've renamed your statuses, Mucka still knows which is which.

If a job's on a status Mucka doesn't recognise, it'll list it as still to do rather than assume it's finished. Better you check than find out on Friday it never got invoiced.

## If nothing's booked in

Mucka will tell you there's nothing in the diary for that person today. That means nothing was **booked**, not that they've done nothing. Plenty of work never makes it into the diary, especially small callouts.

So if you know they were out on a job, tell Mucka about it and it'll take your word for it.

## Mucka can't message them yet

Right now this is Mucka telling **you** how someone's doing. It won't go and ask them.

If you want a word with them, just say so and Mucka will message them for you — see
[Message your team](/help/engineers/message-your-team). Mucka will also flag a job that's gone
quiet on its own and offer to chase it: [When a job goes quiet](/help/engineers/when-a-job-goes-quiet).

## Common gotchas

- **"No engineer found."** Check the spelling, or try just their first name.
- **Two people with the same first name.** Mucka will list both and ask which one you meant.
- **Their day looks empty but they're out.** Mucka counts jobs where they're the lead engineer. If they're a second pair of hands on someone else's job, it won't show here yet. Check the [Schedule](/schedule) for the full picture.
- **You can't see it at all.** You need permission to view the team. If you're not the owner, ask them to check your role in [**Settings → Team → People**](/settings/team/team).
