> Moving from Propeller Powered? It has no single export button, so the Mucka team can do the exporting for you from your login. Your properties, landlords, tenants, jobs, every visit and your appliances come across. Certificates and photos need asking Propeller for. Here's what to send and what comes across.

Coming across from Propeller? The Mucka team does the import for you.

Propeller doesn't have one button that exports everything. If you ask their support for your data, they send back a list of screens to export from one at a time. That works, but it takes a while, and two of the exports cut off part-way without telling you. **The easiest way is to let us do it**: tell us you're on Propeller, and we'll arrange a time to log in and run every export ourselves.

## If you'd rather export it yourself

Save each of these to one folder and send it to us:

- **Properties**: Properties → View Properties, then the green page icon. That one file holds your private customers, your landlords and their tenants.
- **Appliances**: Reports → Asset Report, then the Excel icon next to the title.
- **Jobs**: Jobs/Visits → Jobs → View All. Open **Filter/Sort**, switch the date range off and tick *Include Deactivated Jobs*. The export stops at 10,000 jobs, so if the header says more than that, export it in date ranges.
- **Visits**: Jobs/Visits → Visits → View All. Show the advanced filter and export **one year at a time**, because a single export of everything doesn't arrive. Then tick *Unscheduled* and export once more.

## Ask Propeller for the rest

Two things can't sensibly come out of the screens:

- **Your certificates, job sheets and photos.** They're in Propeller's Document Collator, which only does a thousand at a time. A business with years of work can have hundreds of thousands. Ask Propeller to send them all as one bulk export.
- **Serial and GC numbers for your appliances.** The Asset Report leaves them out. Propeller's "All Appliances Export" report includes them, but it may need switching on for your account.

If you've got the Inbox skill, Mucka can write that email to Propeller for you and send it from your address once you've said yes: see [Ask your old software for your data](/help/getting-started/ask-your-old-software-for-your-data).

**Don't cancel Propeller until we've told you we've got everything.** Once the account closes, the data can't be got back.

## What comes across

- **Your customers.** Each private customer and each landlord becomes a client. Where Propeller has the same person on two properties (say they moved house), they come across as one client with both properties, but only when the name and a phone number or email match. Two people who just share a name stay separate, and we'll ask you about them.
- **Landlords and tenants.** Every let property comes across under its landlord, and the tenant is kept on the property as a contact. Placeholders like "Unoccupied" aren't treated as a tenant.
- **Every visit, in your diary.** Past visits are on the right day with their engineer, status and office and engineer notes. Upcoming bookings stay booked. A visit Propeller still showed as pending after its date had passed comes across cancelled, with a note saying so, so it doesn't clutter your open work.
- **Your appliances**: make, model and type on each property, with when they were last serviced.
- **Your service reminders**, from each appliance's next service date. Gas appliances at let properties become landlord gas safety reminders. Customers who'd switched reminders off in Propeller stay switched off.

Invoices and quotes don't come from Propeller if you raised them in Xero. Connect Xero to Mucka and they'll come in from there.
