> Invoices live on the Invoicing page. If one looks like it has vanished, it is nearly always being looked for on the Jobs page, which only ever lists jobs.

Every invoice you raise sits on one page: [**Invoicing**](/invoices). Open the sidebar, look under **Finance**, and tap **Invoicing**. Newest is at the top.

## Each list shows its own records

This is the bit that catches people out. Mucka keeps jobs, quotes and invoices on separate pages, and each list only ever shows its own kind:

- **Jobs** shows jobs. No quotes, no invoices.
- **Quotes** shows quotes.
- **Invoicing** shows invoices.

So an invoice will never appear on the Jobs page, however you filter it. If you have raised an invoice without booking a job first, which is normal for a call-out, there is simply no job for it to sit under.

## "Invoice Sent" on the Jobs page is a job status

The Jobs page has a status called **Invoice Sent**. That is a label on the **job**, not a list of your invoices, so filtering Jobs by it will not pull your invoices in.

Mucka now sets it for you: send an invoice that is attached to a job, and that job moves to **Invoice Sent** on its own, so you can see at a glance what has been billed. Jobs already marked with a payment problem are left where they are, and a job with no invoice attached to it never moves.

## Still can't see it on the Invoicing page

Work down these in order:

1. Clear the search box, in case a leftover word is narrowing the list
2. Set the status dropdown back to **All Statuses**
3. If you came in from a customer's record, clear the client chip next to the dropdown

If it is still not there, ask Mucka. Say something like *"is invoice 300 still on the system?"* and it will look the record up and tell you what it finds.

## Link an invoice to a job afterwards

If you would rather the work showed on your diary too, you can raise the job after the fact and attach the invoice to it. Ask Mucka, for example *"log invoice 300 as a job for Tuesday at 10am"*, and it will create the job and link the two together.
