> Week in the diary can be a list of each day, or a compact grid with all seven days side by side, like Google Calendar. Pick one in Settings, You, This phone.

On your phone, **Week** in the diary can look one of two ways. Pick whichever suits how you read your week.

- **List** — each day one under the other, every job on a card of its own: the customer, the work and the time, with the full address underneath so you can see where everyone is before you book something in. This is how Week starts out, and **Month** shows the day you pick the same way.
- **Compact** — all seven days side by side, with the hours running down the left and each job sitting at the time it's booked for, as tall as it's going to take. It looks like Google Calendar's week, and it's the quickest way to spot a free afternoon.

## Change it

1. Tap **Menu**, then **Settings**.
2. Under **You**, open **This phone**.
3. Tap **Diary week** and pick **List** or **Compact**.

Open the diary and tap **Week** to see it.

The choice is for this phone only. Your engineers each pick their own, and a computer always shows the full Schedule.

## Using the compact week

- **Tap a job** to open it, the same as in the list.
- **Tap a date** along the top to open that day in **Today**.
- **The arrows** either side of the date step a week at a time.
- **The hours** start at 7am and finish at 7pm, and stretch if something's booked earlier or later, so an early call is never off the top.
- **Two jobs at the same time** sit side by side, so a double booking is easy to see.
- **Holidays and all-day calendar events** sit in a strip above the hours rather than filling the whole day.
- **The filter** beside the date works here too, if you only want to see some of the team.
