> Swap Home, Diary or Contacts on the phone's bottom bar for the pages you use most, like Quotes or Live Jobs.

The bar along the bottom of the Mucka app starts as **Home**, **Diary**, **Ask Mucka**, **Contacts** and **Menu**. The first two and Contacts are yours to change. If you live in Quotes, or your engineers spend all day in Live Jobs, put that on the bar instead.

## Changing a button

1. Open [Settings](/settings) and go to **This phone** (it's called **Device** if you're on the older look).
2. Under **Bottom bar**, tap the button you want to change: **Far left**, **Second from left** or **Next to Menu**.
3. Pick a page. The bar changes straight away.

You can pick anything your Menu shows you: Actions, Inbox, Live Jobs, Notepad, Properties, Team, and the skills you've got, like Quotes, Invoices, Certificates or Timesheets. **Ask Mucka** and **Menu** always stay where they are.

If the page you pick is already on another button, the two swap places.

## Where Home, Diary and Contacts go

Take one of them off the bar and it moves to the very top of your Menu, above **Mucka Skills**, so it's still one tap from the Menu.

To go back to how it started, tap **Put the bar back** under Bottom bar.

## Common gotchas

- **It's yours.** Your bar is saved with you, so it's the same on a new phone or after reinstalling the app. Every engineer sets up their own, and changing yours doesn't change anyone else's. If you're in more than one business, each one has its own bar, because what's in your Menu can be different in each.
- **A button went back to Home on its own.** That page isn't available to you any more, maybe a skill was switched off or your permissions changed. Mucka puts the button back to its usual page rather than showing one that won't open.
- **Live Map isn't in the list.** Live Map isn't available in the iPhone and Android apps.
- **On a computer.** There's no bottom bar on a computer, so the setting only shows on a phone.
