> Sent a quote you no longer stand by, like the option they didn't pick or a price that has changed? Withdraw it. It stays on record, the customer can't accept it, and it stops counting against you.

Sometimes a quote you've sent is no longer one you're offering. You sent two options and the customer picked the other one. The price of the parts moved. You rang them and agreed something different. You can't delete a quote the customer has already seen, because that would lose the record, but you can **withdraw** it.

## How

Open the quote and change its **Status** to **Withdrawn**. On a computer that's at the top of the column beside the document; on a phone it's the **Status** row in the actions at the bottom.

Only a **sent** quote can be withdrawn. A draft was never offered, so delete it instead.

## What it does

- **The customer can't accept it.** Their link still opens, so they can read what they were sent, but it says you've withdrawn it and to give you a ring for an up-to-date one. Accept and Decline are gone.
- **Mucka stops chasing it.** A chase that was waiting for your OK skips it.
- **It comes out of your numbers.** It's not in Pipeline on the Revenue page, and it doesn't count as a loss in your conversion rate, because the customer never turned it down.
- **It stays on record**, marked Withdrawn, in the Quotes list (under Lost on a phone).

## Changed your mind?

Pick **Sent** to put it back in front of them, or **Draft** to rework it first. Sending it again by email also puts it back to Sent.

If the customer said no, that's different: mark it **Rejected** instead, so Mucka learns why you lose work. See [Mark a quote rejected](/help/quotes/mark-a-quote-rejected).
