> Set an end date on a later day and Mucka blocks out each working day, so every one shows in the diary.

A job in Mucka is one visit. So when the work runs over several days, Mucka blocks out **a day at a time** and keeps them together as one booking.

You don't need any extra skill switched on for this — it's how jobs work.

## Booking it

Book it the way you'd book anything:

1. **New job**, pick the client and the address as usual.
2. Set the **date and start time** for the first day.
3. Set the **End date** to the day the work finishes and the **End time** to when you expect to be done.

As soon as the end date lands on a later day, Mucka shows you the plan before you save:

> **Runs over 3 days** — each day is blocked out, so every one shows in the diary and none of them get offered to somebody else.
>
> Mon 24 Aug — 09:00 – 17:00
> Tue 25 Aug — 08:00 – 17:00
> Wed 26 Aug — 08:00 – 10:00

The **first day starts when you said** and the **last day finishes when you said**. The days in between run your normal working day, taken from your business hours in Settings. Days you're closed are skipped, and Mucka tells you which.

Press **Book job** and that's it. You get a job on each day, all part of the same booking.

## Why not just one long job

Because a job that runs Monday to Wednesday would have to hold two nights nobody works, and because everything else in Mucka reads a job as one visit. Booking a day at a time means each day:

- shows in the diary and in Live Jobs
- can be dragged to a different date on its own
- holds that engineer's time, so the AI receptionist won't offer it to a caller
- takes its own photos, notes and arrival time on site

## Just ask

You don't have to go near the form. Tell Mucka — on the phone, in the app, or on WhatsApp:

> "Book the Hendersons in Monday to Wednesday."

and it reads the days back before it books anything:

> "Right, that's 3 days — Mon 1 Sept, Tue 2 Sept and Wed 3 Sept. Starting 09:00 on the Mon, 08:00 till 17:00 in between, and finishing 10:00 on the Wed. All blocked out, so nothing else gets booked over you."

## Changing it afterwards

Every day is an ordinary job, so move one by dragging it in the diary or opening it from your job list, exactly like any other booking. Cancel one and the rest stay put.

If the run is on a **project**, you don't have to go looking for it. Open the project and every day carries two buttons: **Open** on the left, and whatever the day needs next — Start, or Complete — on the right. Open takes you to that day's job, which is where its time, engineer, date, photos, notes and costs all are. The job itself says **Part of <project>** at the top with a link back, on the computer as well as the phone, so it's a round trip.

## When you want more than a booking

If you want to track **costs, progress or several engineers** across the whole run — a bathroom refit, an office fit-out, day-rate work for a big client — that's what the **Projects** skill is for. It gives you a page that manages the run as one job, with **Book more days**, a crew per day, and a quote you can attach.

Booking days doesn't need it. Projects is the upgrade for when the job is big enough to want managing.

## Jobs that run past midnight

An out-of-hours callout that starts at 22:00 and finishes at 06:00 is still **one** visit, so it stays one job. It now shows on **both** days in the diary — with an ↑ on the second day so you can see it ran in from the night before — and it holds the next morning against the receptionist until the engineer is actually finished.

## If you only see one day

Work booked a long time ago was saved as a single very long job, which only ever appeared on its first day. Open it and you'll see its true finish time on the card, marked with how many days over it runs. Rebook it as above to get every day into the diary.
