> Add a photo to any item on your price list and it shows on every quote you put that item on, automatically.

Any item on your price list can carry a photo, and once it does, **every quote line you draw from that item shows it** — with nothing extra to do when you're building the quote.

Photograph the boiler once. It's on every quote you ever put it on.

## Adding one

Go to [**Settings → Money → Price list**](/settings/money/price-list) and open the item. Under the description there's a **Picture** box: hit **Add a picture**, choose the file, and save.

PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2MB. Square works best, because that's the shape it prints at.

To swap it, hit **Change picture**. To take it off, **Remove**.

## Where it turns up

Everywhere the customer sees that line:

- their online quote page
- the PDF you email
- the printed copy
- the preview beside the form as you're building the quote

It shows on invoices raised from those quotes too.

## If one job needs something else

You're not stuck with it. On any quote line there's a small **Use a different picture** link — put whatever you want on that one quote, and **Use the item's picture** puts your catalogue photo back.

## A couple of things worth knowing

- **Changing the picture changes it everywhere from then on.** Quotes you've already sent keep what your customer accepted; new ones get the new photo.
- **A line you typed by hand doesn't get a picture**, because there's no item behind it. Pick the item from the suggestions as you type and the photo comes with it.
- Only people who can edit your price list can change these.

For the other two ways to get photos onto a quote — pictures of the job itself, and examples of your work — see [putting photos on a quote](/help/quotes/put-a-photo-on-a-quote).
