Lines rarely come out in the order you want them the first time. Along the bottom of every line item there's a row of controls, and two of them are arrows — ⌃ moves that line up, ⌄ moves it down. One tap per place.
It works the same on a quote, an invoice and a variation, and nothing else on the line changes: the price, the detail underneath and any picture all travel with it.
There's no dragging. The editor is a sheet you can already swipe away on a phone, so a drag would be fighting the page — two buttons are quicker with a mouse and safer with a thumb.
That same row is where you'll find Detail and Picture for adding to a line, and the ✕ that takes it off altogether.
On the keyboard
Tab reaches the arrows like any other button, so you can reorder a whole quote without touching the mouse — see typing a quote without the mouse.
When an arrow is greyed out
The top line has nothing above it and the bottom line has nothing below it, so those arrows are greyed out rather than hidden. The row keeps its shape as it travels up the list.
Quotes with choices on them
If your quote has a choice on it — two or three boilers the customer picks between — the whole choice moves as one block. An ordinary line stepping past it goes above or below the lot, never into the middle, because the options have to stay together on the customer's page.
Inside a choice, the same arrows move an option up or down among its own options.
Optional extras always sit at the bottom of the quote, so an ordinary line can't be pushed below them. You can still reorder the extras among themselves.

Moving a line is a change like any other — it's on the document once you save the quote.
