When a customer replies to an email Mucka sent for you, the reply goes to your business email unless you choose somewhere else.
Change who gets them
Settings → Business → Details → Customer replies go to.
- Type an address and tap Add to include someone, for example whoever runs the office.
- Tap the × next to an address to take it off. That includes the owner's.
- Save. Replies go to everyone on the list from then on.
There always has to be at least one address, and you can have up to five.
What it covers
Every email Mucka sends for the business: service reminders, plan offers, review requests, payment reminders and the rest.
When someone sends a quote or an invoice themselves, the reply goes back to them and to this list, so the person who sent it still hears back.
If you've connected your own mailbox, replies to what you send from it still land in that mailbox as well.
Your sending address
Emails Mucka sends for you come from your own address, made from your business name, like hollis-heating@mail.mucka.ai. To see or change it, go to Settings → Customers → Email → Sending address.
Type the address you'd like and Mucka tells you straight away whether it's free. No two businesses can have the same one. If you change it, your old address keeps working for you, so a customer forwarding an email you sent last month still reaches you.
Sending from your own email instead
With the Inbox skill you can connect your own Gmail, Outlook or other business email and have every customer email go from that address instead. Once you've chosen it, this page shows your own address rather than the Mucka one. See Connect your email.
If a customer emails Mucka instead of you
Pressing Reply on one of your emails reaches you. If a customer forwards one of those emails instead, or writes to your sending address, Mucka passes the email straight on to you. It goes to the addresses on this list. Press Reply on it and your answer goes to the customer. You also get a Customer emailed card, and the email is added to that customer's record.
Out-of-office replies, other automatic answers and spam aren't passed on.
