You decide what Mucka sends your team. Go to Settings → Team → Messaging.
Set it for a role
Pick a role at the top, like Engineer or Subcontractor, and switch each message on or off. Everyone on that role gets what you've chosen.
What you can switch:
- A job is given to them, moved or cancelled. So nobody turns up on the wrong day.
- Their next job is starting soon. A nudge on the day, shortly before the start time.
- Morning briefing and End of day summary. Their day ahead, and what got done.
- Notes and photos to file. When something they captured hasn't been put on a job.
- Things waiting on them. Cards in Mucka addressed to them that nobody has dealt with.
Everything above starts switched on, so nothing changes until you change it.
Reminders and chases
These are off until you switch them on. Once one is on, Mucka sends it without asking you each time.
- Tomorrow's jobs, the evening before. Around 6pm, a list of their jobs for tomorrow: the time, the job, the customer and the postcode.
- Chase a finished job with nothing on it. The morning after a job is marked done with no job sheet, sign-off or photos, Mucka asks them to add them.
- Chase hours not logged. A morning nudge when days they worked have no hours on their timesheet. This needs Timesheets, with people logging their own hours.
- A ticket is about to run out. A month and then a week before their Gas Safe card or another qualification with an expiry date runs out. You're told as well, so you can plan round it.
They go on WhatsApp, then the app, then a text, like everything else Mucka sends the team.
Set it differently for one person
Pick the person instead of a role. Anything you change applies to just them. Anything you leave alone follows their role. To undo it, tap Follow Engineer again (or whichever role they're on) under that message.
You can also get there from their card in Team → People: tap Choose what Mucka sends them.
What they can change themselves
Your team can still turn the briefings and nudges off for themselves in their own Notifications. They can't turn off news about their own jobs. That's yours to decide.
Where you've switched something off, their Notifications screen says Turned off by your office.
Your own messages aren't affected. As the owner, you set those in your own Notifications.
Subcontractors
Briefings and nudges only go on WhatsApp, and Mucka never WhatsApps a subbie, so those are off for subcontractors whatever you choose. Job changes still reach them, in the app or as a text.
Texts
When WhatsApp and the app can't reach somebody, Mucka sends a text to the mobile on their profile. Texts to your team come out of your business's texts: 60 free a month, then your text bundle.
