Install the Mucka app on iPhone

Get the Mucka iOS app from the App Store so you can use voice, widgets and push notifications on the go.

Walkthrough coming soon
90-second video. We're recording these now.

The Mucka iPhone app gives you voice calls with Mucka, push notifications when actions need approving, and home-screen widgets showing your next job. Works on iPhone and iPad.

Get it from the App Store

Tap this link on your iPhone:

Open Mucka in the App Store →

Or search the App Store for "Mucka". Tap Get, sign in with your Apple ID, and the app installs in a few seconds.

First time you open the app

  1. Sign in with the same email and password you use on the web
  2. Grant microphone permission (so you can talk to Mucka)
  3. Grant notifications permission (so you get pinged when actions are ready)
  4. Optionally grant location if your team's using the On Time Tracker skill

After that, the home tab is exactly the Mucka home you know from the web, just packaged as a native app. Voice gets a dedicated microphone button at the bottom.

What the native app gives you over the web

  • Background voice: keep talking to Mucka with the screen locked, on a call, in your pocket.
  • Push notifications: actions, briefings, urgent stuff lands as a phone notification.
  • Home-screen widget: your next job at a glance without opening the app (set up via long-press on the home screen, then add the Mucka widget).
  • Faster start: native shell feels snappier than the web version.
  • Works on iPad: same Mucka experience, more screen real estate.

Don't want to install?

You don't have to. Open app.mucka.ai in Safari, sign in, and tap Share → Add to Home Screen. That gives you a Mucka icon that opens straight into the web app. Voice and notifications won't be as good as the native app, but it works.

Common gotchas

  • "App not available in your country". The Mucka app is UK only today (App Store country must be GB). If you're abroad temporarily, the web version at app.mucka.ai still works fine.
  • Wrong Apple ID. If you've got family sharing, make sure you're installing under your own Apple ID, not a shared one. Otherwise notifications and voice can route oddly.
  • Notifications not arriving. Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Mucka and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Or see Enable push notifications.
