A quote that's gone quiet tells you nothing on its own. A quote that's been opened four times and still not accepted tells you plenty — usually that they want it and are working out how to pay for it.
Where it shows
On the Quotes page, under the reference:
Opened 4 times, last 3 hours ago
Same line on a phone. Open the quote itself and there's an Opened date in with Created, Valid until and Sent.
What it needs
The Live Quotes skill, because what's being counted is opens of the quote's own web page. A quote emailed as a plain PDF has no page to open, so there's nothing to count — see Send a quote your customer can accept online.
Repeat opens within the hour from the same device count once, so somebody refreshing the page doesn't inflate it.
When it says nothing
No line means no open has been recorded. That is not "they haven't looked" — it also covers a quote that went out as a PDF, or one you handed over in person. Mucka says nothing rather than guessing.
What to do with it
- Opened several times, no answer — ring them. Something on it is stopping them, and it's usually one line or the total.
- Sent days ago, never opened — it may not have arrived. Resend it, or check the email address on their record.
- Opened once, weeks ago — that's a cold one. Mark it rejected so Mucka stops chasing it, and tell it why.
You don't get pinged
There's no notification on an open — your phone would never stop. When they accept, though, Mucka messages you on WhatsApp and on your phone straight away.
