Choose your review platforms and split invites between them

Choose which clients get automatic review requests and split invites across Google, Trustpilot and Checkatrade.

90-second video. We're recording these now.

Mucka can ask your customers for a review automatically after a job, and you're not limited to one platform. Turn on as many as you like, Google, Trustpilot, Checkatrade, and decide what share of invites goes to each.

Choose which clients get the automatic request

In Review settings, open Automations and use Send to:

  • All clients keeps the usual behaviour.
  • Residential clients only asks household customers but leaves commercial contacts alone.
  • Commercial clients only does the opposite.

Mucka checks the client type saved on the customer record before it creates or schedules anything. This setting affects automatic requests only. You can still send a one-off request to any client yourself.

Turn a platform on

Open Reviews and tap the settings cog to open Review settings. For each platform you want to use:

  1. Flip its toggle on.
  2. Paste the review link.

You can have one on, or several, whatever suits.

Google works a bit differently. Connect your Google Business Profile and pick your business location, and Mucka switches Google on and fills in your review link for you. There's nothing to paste and nothing else to tick.

The one time you'll still need Review settings for Google is if you already had another platform running when you connected. Mucka leaves that one alone rather than quietly moving half your invites, so open Review settings, turn Google on and set the split you want.

Set the split

As soon as two or more platforms are on, an Invite split section appears. Each active platform gets a percentage box:

  • Type the share you want each to get, for example 60% Google and 40% Trustpilot.
  • The total is shown as you type, with a tick when it adds up to 100%.
  • In a hurry? Tap Even split and Mucka divides it equally.

Each customer only ever gets one review invite, so they're never pestered across platforms. Mucka spreads the invites to match your split, so over time roughly 6 in 10 go to Google and 4 in 10 to Trustpilot in the example above.

Don't worry about getting the numbers exactly to 100, Mucka works off the ratio either way. But keeping it at 100 makes it easiest to read.

When only one platform is on

If you've just got one platform switched on, there's nothing to split, it gets every invite. The split section only shows up once a second platform is on.

Sending a one-off request yourself

The split above covers the invites Mucka sends automatically after a job. You can also send a request by hand at any time: open Reviews and tap New Request.

If you've got more than one platform on, you'll see them listed under Review platform. Tap the one you want this request to go to, and the review link in the message updates to match. There's no percentage here, because it's a single email to a single customer, it goes to whichever platform you pick.

With only one platform on, it's simply shown for reference and there's nothing to choose.

What the customer gets

However you split it, the experience is the same for the customer: after the job they get an email with your review link and a short text nudging them to check their inbox (the text never carries a link, because UK networks block those). Once they leave a review, the chasing stops.

Stop the automatic ones without losing the feature

Plenty of people would rather pick their moment: only ask the customers they're confident about, rather than everyone. Tell Mucka "turn the automatic review requests off" and it switches them off for you. Say "stop chasing Checkatrade reviews" and it does just that one.

Nothing else changes. Your platforms stay connected, your review links still work, and you can still send a one-off any time by saying "send a review request to Michael Riley". Ask for them back on whenever you want.

Change it any time

Adjust the toggles or the percentages whenever you like and tap Save settings. New invites follow the new split straight away; ones already sent aren't affected.
