For a couple of weeks there was a Version row in Settings → Your Mucka that let you try a new engine behind Mucka's voice, called Mucka 3.
We've paused that trial. The row has gone, and everybody who was on Mucka 3 is back on the version they were using before.
Do I need to do anything?
No. Your jobs, clients, quotes, settings and the way you talk to Mucka are all exactly as they were — the version only ever changed which engine answered you, never anything you'd set up. If you never saw the row, nothing about your Mucka has changed at all.
Why did you stop it?
It was faster to answer, but it got too many things wrong for us to be comfortable leaving it in front of people. We'd rather pull it back and keep working on it than let it book the wrong thing on your diary.
Thank you to everyone who tried it and told us what went wrong — that's the whole reason we knew to stop.
Will it come back?
Probably, when it's better. There's no date. If we open it up again we'll tell you rather than quietly switching you over.
