Mucka can look things up on the internet for you. It is part of every paid plan and the free trial, with nothing to install, and everyone on your team can use it.
What you can ask
- What a merchant charges today: "What's Toolstation charging for a 15mm isolating valve?"
- A manual or a fault code for another make: "What's fault code F28 on a Vaillant ecoTEC?" (Worcester Bosch questions are answered from their own manuals by the Bosch Knowledge skill.)
- Rules and guidance: "What does Gas Safe say about flue terminal clearances?"
- The weather for a job: "Is it going to rain in Shrewsbury on Thursday?"
- A company: "Is this company on Companies House?"
- A link someone sent you: paste it in and ask what it says.
It works in the Mucka chat, on WhatsApp, and when you talk to Mucka in the app or on the phone.
How Mucka uses it
- When you ask for something from the web, Mucka says it is looking it up and comes back with the answer. On a call that takes a few seconds.
- When Mucka only thinks the web might help, it asks you first.
- Every answer says it came from the web and names where. A web price is what that merchant lists, never your price. Your own prices, jobs and customers still come from Mucka.
- Your customers' details stay private. Mucka never puts a customer's name, address or phone number into a search.
- Your AI receptionist never searches the web, and Mucka never searches on its own in the background.
Good to know
- Prices online change. Check before you put one on a quote.
- There is a daily safety limit on lookups for each business. If you hit it, it resets the next day.
- If Mucka cannot find the answer, it says so rather than guessing.
- On the free plan, Mucka tells you web lookups come with a paid plan.
