Leaving JobLogic? The Mucka team does the import for you. What we need from you is the data: four exports you can press yourself, and an email to JobLogic support for the rest.
Staying on JobLogic and want Mucka alongside it? That's a different thing, and it's in pilot now: a live connection that keeps JobLogic as your system and mirrors it into Mucka. See Connect JobLogic.
The four you can download yourself
Each one comes from its own list screen, and each exports what's on screen, so clear any search or filter first, or you'll get part of your book and nothing to say so.
- Customers: Customers → All Customers, then Export
- Sites: Sites → All Sites, then Export
- Jobs: your jobs list, then Export
- Assets: Assets → All Assets, then Export
The sites and assets matter most for a maintenance business: they're how each building, and each boiler or unit in it, arrives in Mucka in the right place.
What you see in JobLogic depends on your user permissions, so do this from an admin login if you can.
What you need to ask JobLogic for
None of those four exports has a single payment, completed form or photo in it, and for a gas business the forms are every gas safety record you hold. Ask JobLogic support for the rest.

- Request for a full export of my data
Hi, I'm moving my business to a new system and need a full copy of my data, please. I've already exported my customers, sites, jobs and assets from the list screens. Could you send me: 1. Every completed form and certificate as a PDF, showing which job and site each one belongs to. 2. My invoices with their line items, and the payments recorded against them. 3. My quotes. 4. The visit history for each job, with the engineer who attended. 5. The photos and attachments on each job. 6. My diary: every appointment, past and booked. A download link is fine. My account is [your business name], and I log in with [the email address you use for JobLogic]. Thanks, [your name]
Connected your email to Mucka’s Inbox? The last button opens it ready to send, so you can read it through and press Send yourself.
Or ask Mucka to send it
If you've got the Inbox skill and your email connected, just say "email JobLogic for my data". Mucka writes the request, reads it back to you, and sends it from your own email address once you say yes. See Ask your old software for your data.
Send them to us
Attach the files to a support ticket. Open Settings → Support, or just tell Mucka "I'm moving from JobLogic, here are my exports" and it'll raise one for you. Send the spreadsheets as they come; no need to tidy or rename anything.
What comes across
We've built an importer for JobLogic's exports:
- Every customer, matched against anyone already in Mucka before anything is added
- Every site and job address as its own property, under the right customer
- Your job history, each job on the day it was booked
- An invoice for every job JobLogic shows as invoiced, at the invoiced value. Quoted values never become invoices
- Your assets, as the appliances at each property
Two things to be straight about.
There are no payments in JobLogic's exports, so we can't tell which invoices are still owed. We bring them in marked Paid, on purpose, so Mucka doesn't start chasing customers who settled up months ago. If any are still outstanding, open the invoice and set it to "Sent - unpaid" and Mucka picks it up from there.
Jobs still open in JobLogic on the day you export come across as cancelled rather than booked or done, because the export can't tell us whether they happened. Book the ones you're still doing again in Mucka.
Before you cancel
Don't cancel your JobLogic subscription until we've told you we've got everything. Your completed forms and certificates carry the renewal dates Mucka uses to remind you and your customers when the next one's due, and they're much harder to get once the account is closed.
