When Mucka drafts a quote for you in the app, the reply shows the draft's lines with a − and + beside each one, and the subtotal, VAT and total underneath. This works in the chat panel on a computer and in the Mucka bar on your phone.
Tap + to add one more of that line, or − to take one off. Each tap saves straight to the draft. Mucka then shows the totals from the saved quote, so they match what the quote will print. While a change is saving, the new quantity shows straight away and the money greys out until the saved total comes back. Several quick taps are saved together.
Under the lines it says Saved to the draft · nothing has gone to the customer. Changing the quantities never sends anything. Sending is still a separate step.
A few things stay as they are:
- The price on each line doesn't change. Only the quantity does. To change a price, ask Mucka in the chat or open the quote.
- The quantity won't go below one. To take a line off completely, ask Mucka or open the quote.
- Options and optional extras are shown but can't be stepped from the chat, because changing them changes which version of the quote the total describes. Change those in the quote editor.
- A quote that has been sent, accepted or declined is shown without the buttons. Open it from Quotes to make a change.
If a change can't be saved, the editor stays where it is and says why, in place. The usual reason is that somebody changed the same quote somewhere else at the same moment. Open the quote to see the latest version.
You need permission to view and edit quotes to use the buttons. Without it you still see the lines and the total.
