Sending a quote doesn't lock it. You can change the lines, prices, quantities, notes or the valid-until date on a quote you've already sent, and it stays the same quote with the same number.
How to change it
- Open the quote from Quotes.
- Tap Edit.
- Make your changes and save.
The quote stays Sent and keeps its sent date. Nothing goes to the customer when you save.
Let the customer see the new version
- They have the online link: it always shows the quote as it is now, so they see your changes the next time they open it. If they accept on it, they're accepting the changed version.
- They have a PDF: that copy doesn't change. Tap Resend on the quote to send them the new one.
If the change is big, it's worth a quick call or message to let them know before they see a different total.
Asking Mucka to do it
Mucka can change a draft quote for you in the chat. Once a quote has been sent, Mucka won't change its lines itself. It will send you to the quote so you can tap Edit and make the change. You don't need a new quote unless you want one.
