Coming across from Tradify? The Mucka team does the import for you. What we need from you is the data, and Tradify hands it over in two halves: five exports you can press yourself, and the rest you need to ask Tradify support for.
The five you can download yourself
Your customers
Open Customers, click Options, then Export Customers to File, and download it. That's every customer with their contact details and addresses.
Your sites
On the same Customers page, click Options, then Export Customer Sites to File. This is the one that matters most: it's how a landlord with eleven flats arrives in Mucka as a landlord with eleven flats, not eleven jobs at the landlord's own house.
Your invoices
Open Invoices. Tick the invoices you want (or tick them all) and press the export icon, the arrow pointing into a box. The export only covers the tab you're on, so do it from the tab that shows them all, or once for each tab.
Your quotes
Open Quotes and press the export icon. If you don't tick any, it exports every quote in the tab you're on.
Your jobs
Open Jobs, click Options, then Export Jobs to File. With nothing ticked, it exports every job in the filter you've got set, so clear the filter first.
What you need to ask Tradify for
Some things Tradify can't export in bulk: your forms and certificates, your service reminders, your recurring jobs, and the notes and files on each job. Tradify's own advice is to contact their support for a full copy, and for a gas or heating business the certificates are the most valuable thing you own, so ask today.

Connected your email to Mucka’s Inbox? The last button opens it ready to send, so you can read it through and press Send yourself.
Or ask Mucka to send it
If you've got the Inbox skill and your email connected, just say "email Tradify for my data". Mucka writes the request, reads it back to you, and sends it from your own email address once you say yes. When Tradify reply with the files, Mucka puts a card in front of you asking whether to send them to the Mucka team. See Ask your old software for your data.
Send them to us
Attach the files to a support ticket. Open Settings → Support, or just tell Mucka "I'm moving from Tradify, here are my exports" and it'll raise one for you. Send the spreadsheets as they come; no need to tidy or rename anything.
What comes across
We've built an importer for Tradify, so your customer book comes across properly rather than as a tidied-up spreadsheet:
- Every customer, with their phone, email and address
- Every site they own, kept as its own property under the right customer
- Your invoices, with their line items, matched to the right customer, and what's still owed
- Postcodes and addresses cleaned up on the way in, and anything we're not sure about flagged for you to check rather than guessed at
If you've already started using Mucka, that's fine: the import recognises the customers you've entered yourself and won't give you two of anybody. And if an invoice in Tradify names a customer we can't be sure of, we bring it in without one and ask you, rather than putting somebody else's bill on the wrong person.
Your quotes and jobs are worth sending too. Tell us what you need from them and we'll work out the best way to bring them across with you.
Before you cancel
Don't cancel your Tradify subscription until we've told you we've got everything. Once it's cancelled the account is no longer accessible, and your certificates carry the renewal dates Mucka uses to remind you and your customers when the next one's due.
