If you own more than one business, or you run your own and sub for a firm, all of them sit on the same Mucka login. Each one keeps its own customers, jobs, quotes and invoices. Whatever you do happens in the business you're in at the time.
Moving between them
- On a computer: tap the business name at the bottom of the sidebar and pick the one you want.
- On your phone: open the menu. Your businesses are listed under Workspaces. Tap one to go to it.
Mucka reloads into that business, at its home screen.
When you sign in
If Mucka can't tell which business you were last in, say on a new phone, it asks you to choose a workspace first. Pick one and you're in. You can switch whenever you like after that.
Notifications
Your phone gets notifications from every business you're in, as soon as you're signed in on it. Each one starts with the business's name so you know which it's about, and tapping it takes you into that business first. If you'd rather not hear from one of them on a particular phone, go to Settings → You → Device on that phone and switch that business off under Notifications from. With the new look switched on, that screen is called This phone and each business has its own Notifications for switch. It's per phone, so your work phone and your tablet can be different. The main Notifications switch above it turns them all off on that phone, and signing out does too.
Mucka on WhatsApp works for one business at a time, because one number can only be paired once. Your WhatsApp stays with the business you paired it in, and you won't be asked to pair it again in the others.
To move it, go to Settings → Connections → Integrations → WhatsApp in the business you want it in and tap Move WhatsApp here. Your other businesses still reach you through the app's notifications.
If you're a subbie
- The firms you work for can't see your own business, and you only see what they've put you on.
- In your own business, the jobs you're booked on for your firms show in your week diary as read-only blocks, so you don't book over them. Tap one to open it in that firm.
- If your own business's trial ends and you don't carry on, only that business locks. Your work for your firms carries on as normal.
